Grew up in rural Alabama during the 50s. Moved to Savannah GA in 1968. Met my future husband, Craig Propst in Mr. Langfort's History Class at Windsor Forest High School. Went to University of Georgia, Social Work. Graduate School at East Carolina in Business, Computer Sciences and Family & Consumer Sciences. Married Craig Propst in August, 1975. Only couple to actually be married at the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace. She had her reception at the House. We were married in the courtyard and had our reception on the first floor of the house and in the gardens. Lived in these places: Athens, GA, Carrollton, GA, Norcross, GA, Schaumburg, IL, West Dundee, IL, Matthews, NC, Huntersville, NC and now my future and last home town, Mint Hill, NC. Have traveled to most every state in the country. Two Children: Sarah and Tyler. Granddaughter, Laney Grace. Started 14th Street Vintage in 2014. My nicknames: Sherri, Sparkle, GaGa, Mrs. P. |
