My husband's paternal grandmother's family had a candy story on Halsted Street in Chicago in the early 1900s. My daughter Sarah was born in Chicago, IL and we lived there for 10 years. It was called the J I Wilson Store. I am trying to find photos of the actual store and retrieve a copy of a candy ad in the paper which I have seen in the family but cannot locate yet.
